Last week, UrbanGrowth NSW released its Consultation Outcomes Report in relation to the Draft Parramatta Road Urban Transformation Strategy. The report summarises the feedback received and UrbanGrowth’s initial response. It also outlines their approach to finalising the Strategy, which covers eight precincts along the Parramatta Road corridor – at Camperdown, Leichhardt, Taverners Hill, Kings Bay, Burwood, Homebush, Auburn and Granville. The Strategy provides the framework that will guide future land use and development decisions in these areas. It will be finalised this year, with district plans to be placed on exhibition in 2017. This is definitely something for the astute investor to keep on eye on, as changes to land zonings will provide opportunities in the future.
